‘Stranger Things’ Cast Members We Want to See in Comic Book Movies and TV Shows

Stranger Things star David Harbour is all set to play Hellboy in the big-screen reboot of the Mike Mignola comic. That’s got us thinking about the rest of amazingStranger Things cast and which of them we’d like to see in other comic book movies and TV shows. Check out these choice picks…

The character of Rogue, played by Anna Paquin in the existing series of X-Men movies, is rumored to return in an upcoming film. As the X-Men movie continuity evolves, legacy characters are being recast with younger actors. The same will happen with Rogue.  And we think Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer — she plays Nancy — is perfect. She’s got both vulnerability and toughness, character traits that are essential for Rogue.

Finn Wolfhard as Robin in Teen Titans

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike in Stranger Things, is a boss. This kid is going to be a huge star. And we know from interviews that he’s a massive comic book fan. In fact, according to Finn’s bio, the first movie he ever saw was Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Now, that gig is taken, but we like Finn for another superhero role. DC and Warner Bros. have just announced that a new live-action Teen Titans series is on the way. They’re gonna need Robin to help lead the time, right? Finn Wolfhard is the perfect Robin.

Caleb McLaughlin as Static in Static Shock

Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas in Stranger Things, is a fantastic young actor that’s going places. And one of the places we think he should go is to Warner Bros. for a live-action version of Static Shock. If you remember the awesome Static Shock series that aired on Kids WB back in the early 2000s, then you may already know that a live-action version has been rumored for a minute. In fact, Jalen Smith is rumored to be up for the lead role. To that, we say, just no. Caleb is a talented guy, and he’s got more natural charisma than Smith could ever hope to have.

Millie Bobby Brown as Princess Leia in Star Wars

While Star Wars isn’t technically a comic book movie, the Millie Bobby Brown hype is real and we can’t stop thinking about how perfect she’d be for young Leia. It’s been said before, but Brown bears a striking resemblance to a young Carrie Fisher. Brown, who plays Eleven, is fresh off her Best Actor in a TV Show win at the MTV Movie Awards. We’ve seen a younger version of Leia on the animated Star Wars Rebels series. However, it doesn’t seem like Lucasfilm has plans to depict her life as the young teen Princess of Alderaan. That’s unfortunate because this just needs to happen.
