Something Is *Very* Different About Eleven's Hair in the New 'Stranger Things' Trailer

But you probably didn't notice.

Since we know filming for Season 2 ran from about November 2016-January 2017, something about the footage and Millie's real-life hair didn't add up—so we asked Stranger Things executive producer and director Shawn Levy to explain. The thing you probably didn't notice in the trailer? Eleven's buzzcut isn't real.
"We couldn't be so heartless as to make her shave her head all over again," he explained. "So because Millie's hair was longer, and some of Season 2 needed that same buzzcut, we put all of her hair under a wig and then used visual effects to help make it look like a perfect match to the end of Season 1. So a combination of wig and VFX."
Important note: He said "some of Season 2 needed that same buzzcut." So thanks for the (teeny, tiny) spoiler, Levy: Eleven's hair will grown in Season 2.

Godzilla 2 has Started Filming With Three Iconic Monsters as Adversaries

Legendary and Warner Bros. have released a statement that will be music to the ears of all you mega monster fans; Godzilla 2 has begun filming. After the commercial and critical success of Kong: Skull Island, one can surmise that the still untitled Godzilla 2 will be just as ambitious, as the former was not only inspired by Apocalypse Now, but featured some serious monster-on-monster action.
Godzilla will face an even sterner test than he did in Rogue One director Gareth Edwards 2014’s smash. In that film, Godzilla faced off against a pair of MUTOs (massive unidentified terrestrial organisms) that were gorging on nuclear energy and laying waste to human beings in the process. Godzilla rose up and took out the two monsters, but paid quite a price in the process, nearly dying for his efforts. Here's what Godzilla's up against in the sequel, per the film's official synopsis:
The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
In Godzilla 2Trick ‘r Treat and Krampus director Michael Dougherty has taken the reigns, from a script he co-wrote the script with Zach Shields. The cast is very strong, with Bloodline star Kyle Chandler, Psycho star Vera Farmiga, and Stranger Things breakout Millie Bobby Brown playing a family at the heart of the action. Straight Outta Comptom’s O’Shea Jackson Jr., Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’s Zhang Ziyi, Get Out’s Bradley Whitford, Game of Thrones’ Charles Dance, and Star Trek: Into Darkness’s Aisha Hinds join them. Returning from the 2014 hit are Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins.
This continues Warner Bros. interconnected Monster Universe, which began with Edwards 2014’s Godzilla and this year’s Kong: Skull Island. When Godzilla 2 debuts on March 22, 2019, it will be the third in the series, which will set up the battle royale we're all waiting for— director Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong on May 22, 2020.

‘Stranger Things’ Cast Members We Want to See in Comic Book Movies and TV Shows

Stranger Things star David Harbour is all set to play Hellboy in the big-screen reboot of the Mike Mignola comic. That’s got us thinking about the rest of amazingStranger Things cast and which of them we’d like to see in other comic book movies and TV shows. Check out these choice picks…

The character of Rogue, played by Anna Paquin in the existing series of X-Men movies, is rumored to return in an upcoming film. As the X-Men movie continuity evolves, legacy characters are being recast with younger actors. The same will happen with Rogue.  And we think Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer — she plays Nancy — is perfect. She’s got both vulnerability and toughness, character traits that are essential for Rogue.

Finn Wolfhard as Robin in Teen Titans

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike in Stranger Things, is a boss. This kid is going to be a huge star. And we know from interviews that he’s a massive comic book fan. In fact, according to Finn’s bio, the first movie he ever saw was Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Now, that gig is taken, but we like Finn for another superhero role. DC and Warner Bros. have just announced that a new live-action Teen Titans series is on the way. They’re gonna need Robin to help lead the time, right? Finn Wolfhard is the perfect Robin.

Caleb McLaughlin as Static in Static Shock

Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas in Stranger Things, is a fantastic young actor that’s going places. And one of the places we think he should go is to Warner Bros. for a live-action version of Static Shock. If you remember the awesome Static Shock series that aired on Kids WB back in the early 2000s, then you may already know that a live-action version has been rumored for a minute. In fact, Jalen Smith is rumored to be up for the lead role. To that, we say, just no. Caleb is a talented guy, and he’s got more natural charisma than Smith could ever hope to have.

Millie Bobby Brown as Princess Leia in Star Wars

While Star Wars isn’t technically a comic book movie, the Millie Bobby Brown hype is real and we can’t stop thinking about how perfect she’d be for young Leia. It’s been said before, but Brown bears a striking resemblance to a young Carrie Fisher. Brown, who plays Eleven, is fresh off her Best Actor in a TV Show win at the MTV Movie Awards. We’ve seen a younger version of Leia on the animated Star Wars Rebels series. However, it doesn’t seem like Lucasfilm has plans to depict her life as the young teen Princess of Alderaan. That’s unfortunate because this just needs to happen.
